Jessica Fernandez

Legislative assistant

Jessica is a Legislative Assistant at Plurus Strategies. She supports a range of client priorities related to energy, environment, technology, trade, foreign policy, and defense. Before joining the team in a full-time role, Jessica previously served as a Plurus Strategies intern.

Originally from California, Jessica has interned in U.S. Senator Alex Padilla’s (D-CA) Washington office and the House Natural Resources Committee. In these roles, she has conducted legislative research, stakeholder engagement, and policy analysis in areas such as water rights, healthcare, critical minerals, energy, economic policy, and federal lands.

Jessica has also worked closely with Citizens’ Climate Lobby’s Fresno Chapter to create bilingual educational materials on environmental justice for Spanish-speakers and farm workers while promoting bills focused on effective climate solutions.
